Wisdom Teeth: Wisdom teeth pain, Erupting wisdom teeth
Broken Tooth: Chipped tooth, 1/4 tooth remaining, Fracture teeth/knock out
Unfortunately, outside of our working hours we are unable to accommodate dental emergencies so please contact your local A&E.
You can visit the dentist if the tooth pain persists for more than two days. If you have high temperature, red or swollen gums, cheeks or jaws are swollen.
Pulsating sensation in the teeth or gums like a heartbeat
Any form of dental trauma, such as chipped, cracked, or knocked-out teeth, should be addressed promptly. Even minor chips and cracks can allow bacteria to reach the tooth’s pulp, leading to more serious infections and decay.
Increased tooth sensitivity to hot or cold foods
Loose, wobbly teeth
Pain is persistent or comes and goes
If your dental pulp becomes infected, leading to symptoms such as sensitivity and tooth discoloration, a root canal will be necessary to preserve the tooth.
If the tooth is beyond repair, extraction will be recommended as a final option.
Important to note that when dental pulp is infected, a course of antibiotics or root canal treatment may be necessary before the procedure.
